We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic YouTube Channel Coordinator to join the EMEA Kids team on a contractor basis to manage some of our most loved Cartoon Network YouTube channels in the English language.
About the Role
You will be responsible for executing the designed strategy while managing assets, uploading content, and scheduling videos. Regular calendar assessment and optimisation, channel optimisation, analytic reports, and asset requests and tracking will also be part of your routine. You may also be expected to review and approve clips, compilations, thumbnails, and metadata when needed.
Responsibilities
* Run the day-to-day management of multiple English-speaking YouTube channels featuring Cartoon Network shows.
* With guidance from the Marketing & Digital Manager and Director of YouTube Strategy, implement the publishing calendar with a focus on optimisation for revenue growth informed by analytics insights.
* Ensure that all assets delivered by other teams are accurate, saved in the correct folders, and available for use on time.
* Upload and schedule assets, maintaining a balance between scheduled and responsive posts, execute bulk uploads when necessary.
* Ensure channels adhere to YouTube best practices in a Made for Kids environment.
* Keep up to date with YouTube platform developments, trends, and training.
* Suggest and, when needed, produce assets in response to current trends and events.
* Optimise titles, descriptions, and keywords for SEO.
* Review and approve videos, thumbnails, and titles.
* Provide regular updates on channel activity and growth.
* Support the Marketing & Digital Manager and Director YouTube Strategy with insights and feedback to improve workflow and overall results.
* Edit clips and produce thumbnails if necessary.
Qualifications
* Minimum one year of professional experience managing multiple YouTube channels for brands.
* Experience executing publishing strategies for YouTube.
* Excellent copywriting skills.
* Knowledge of SEO.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently while effectively communicating progress and processes with other team members.
* Experience liaising with multiple stakeholders and producing comprehensive reports.
* Well-versed in YouTube analytics and data interpretation.
* Experience with YouTube CMS.
* Comfortable with Premiere Pro and Photoshop for clip cutting and thumbnail composition.
Required Skills
* Entertainment industry experience, preferably including multi-channel TV.
* Experience working in a multinational environment.
* Entrepreneurial in approach.
* The ideal candidate has a natural passion for animation, cartoons, and digital storytelling.
* Previous experience working with Made for Kids channels.
