Job Description Order to Cash Specialist – 12 Month FTC Hours - Full-Time Monday – Friday Salary - £28,050 per annum Location: Bedford We are supporting a global logistics provider in the search for a dedicated Order to Cash Specialist. Role Overview The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customer service enquiries, playing a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate order management. This position involves collaborating with internal departments and external clients to resolve service issues, manage claims, and uphold service excellence across the order-to-cash lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email, logging all interactions in the CRM system. Investigate and resolve a wide range of client and customer issues including delivery delays, shortages, and temperature-sensitive product concerns. Process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, in line with internal SLAs and compliance standards. Liaise with warehouse, billing, and transport teams to manage claims and ensure issue resolution. Escalate and follow up on financial discrepancies and potential losses appropriately. Handle complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring full resolution and client satisfaction. Contribute to service improvements by identifying inefficiencies and supporting continuous process development. Ideal Candidate Profile Proven background in customer service, ideally within a logistics or B2B environment. Familiarity with order-to-cash processes and client interaction. Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud experience is an advantage. Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail and a solution-focused approach. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
