The Role
The Headteacher and Governors at Trinity Catholic High School are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and ambitious Deputy Headteacher who will play a central role in shaping the next stage of our school’s journey. The specific remit of this role will be determined according to the suitability and strengths of the successful candidate.
Having proudly served the local community for more than fifty years, Trinity Catholic High School is now entering a new era of ambition, innovation and opportunity. Guided by our values of Truth, Compassion, Hope and Service, and shaped by our new Mission, we are building a leadership team that will honour our proud history while setting a clear and bold direction for the future.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction across all Key Stages, ensuring that our values and Mission are lived in the classroom, across the school and within the wider community.
With over 1,600 students from Year Seven through to Year Thirteen, Trinity is a large, vibrant and high-performing Catholic comprehensive school. We are seeking a leader who can motivate, inspire and unite our community as we continue to build on our strengths and reach new levels of excellence.
At the heart of this role is a relentless focus on raising standards, maintaining high expectations and ensuring consistency across the school. You will help to create a culture where every student is supported and challenged to achieve their best, while celebrating individuality and empowering them to find their voice and make a positive difference in the world.
A key priority for us is strengthening our sense of one school across our split-site setting. Working with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and the wider community, the Deputy Headteacher will help embed a shared vision and culture so that every student, parent and member of staff feels part of the Trinity family.
This role demands a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with a proven record of outstanding leadership and the ability to inspire, challenge and support others. As a practising Catholic in good standing with the Church, you will embrace our values and new Mission, leading by example and helping our students grow into confident, compassionate and ambitious young people.
You will join an exceptionally committed and supportive Senior Leadership Team within a school where staff are deeply dedicated to our students, our community and our Catholic identity. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of Trinity Catholic High School at a defining point in its history. If you have the drive, energy and vision to lead with integrity, raise aspirations and inspire excellence, we would very much like to hear from you.
