Days & Hours: 8 hours per week, flexible days, can be one full day or two half days, to meet David's needs.
Pay: Weekdays £15/hr; weekends and bank holidays £16/hr
Driver required: Yes, using your own car with business insurance; mileage paid.
Using Own Vehicle for work: Yes, for duty and training.
Essential: Supporting adults with acquired brain injury.
Desirable: Experience with trauma, vision loss, and interest in therapy.
Family Pets: 1 dog

About David
David, born in 1989, has a brain injury affecting his eyesight. No vision in his right eye, limited tunnel vision in the left, registered blind. He experiences mood swings but is quick to apologize. He loves football, dog walking, fishing, museums, and long drives. He volunteers at Headway, works as a cleaner, and enjoys Nando's. He lives independently, values family and his dog, and needs support with activities and memory.
Role Description
This is a rewarding opportunity to support David, promoting his independence and wellbeing. You should communicate effectively, with patience, tact, warmth, and compassion.
Pay & Benefits
