Purpose of the Role To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This role is eligible under the Skilled Worker Visa route and requires commitment to delivering professional care services in line with CQC/Care Inspectorate standards and Vybrant Care Services’ values. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to service users in their own homes. Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, while maintaining dignity and respect Support with mobility, transfers, and use of equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, mobility aids). Administer or prompt medication in line with policy and training. Prepare meals, support with nutrition, and assist with hydration as required. Carry out domestic duties (light cleaning, laundry, shopping) where part of the care plan. Provide emotional support, companionship, and social interaction to reduce isolation. Accurately document care provided using electronic or paper-based care systems. Immediately report safeguarding concerns, incidents, or changes in health condition. Follow infection prevention and control protocols to maintain a safe care environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant / Care Worker in domiciliary or residential care. Training will be provided. Care Certificate (or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK). Proficiency in spoken and written English (as per Skilled Worker visa requirements – IELTS UKVI Level B1 or equivalent). Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and professional boundaries. Ability to travel between clients’ homes (driving licence desirable but not essential). Flexible to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Desirable Requirements NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Experience in administering medication and using domiciliary care systems (e.g., Birdie). Manual handling and basic life support training. UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Employment Details Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) with potential for extra hours Salary: £22,300 – £25,000 per annum (Skilled Worker visa minimum threshold compliant) Benefits: Visa sponsorship and relocation support (if applicable).
