Atkins is offering an opportunity to influence major infrastructure programmes and develop innovative solutions across the sector. Our Infrastructure Asset Management Practice focuses on delivering outcomes by optimising asset performance for clients in the UK and internationally.
Our Services include data-driven asset management, regulatory and technical advice, and leadership in asset performance for significant projects, particularly in the Aviation market.
Responsibilities
* Lead Asset Management Projects and provide Asset Management Leadership for major strategic projects. Act as a key member of the Infrastructure Asset Management Practice, coordinating a team to deliver solutions for key clients in the Aviation market and developing and selling this expertise.
* Asset performance monitoring and benchmarking, including the development and use of dashboards and digital tools to drive improved performance.
* Strategic planning, including risk-based decision-making tools and methodologies, and prioritisation; translate Business Plans into deliverable outcomes.
* Provide assurance and regulatory advice for UK Water utilities and internationally.
* Deliver strategic asset management advice, including gap analysis and improvement plans against ISO55001 and related business process engineering and business plan development.
* Develop project work plans, review schedules, budgets, milestones, and work products; participate in annual and strategic planning for the area of responsibility; pursue new project opportunities and maintain client relationships.
Your Purpose
Candidates should have a blend of technical, stakeholder engagement, financial, and project management skills to win and deliver projects in aviation and related infrastructure sectors.
* Background in winning and servicing clients on major projects, strong technical foundations, excellent communication and organizational skills, and knowledge of aviation clients.
* Participate in strategic planning for aviation to maximise profitability, marketing capabilities, operational efficiencies, and quality.
* Leverage and develop aviation client relationships to identify and pursue business opportunities.
* Assist in developing project work plans; contribute to schedule and budget reviews; implement annual and strategic plans for the area of responsibility.
* Identify and work toward client relationship problem resolution and new project opportunities.

Candidates must be open to UK and potentially international travel and periods away from their home office on a regular basis.
* Proven track record in applying digital asset management and advanced analytical techniques to improve business performance.
* Confident, professional, with a can-do approach; strong communication skills to explain complex matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Commercially astute with a supportive and encouraging approach to identifying and nurturing talent.
* Ability to work collaboratively within Atkins, with the supply chain and with clients.
Qualifications
* Honours Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Asset Management qualifications are preferred but not essential.
* Membership of an appropriate professional body is preferred but not essential.
