Job title: Key Account Manager
Reports to: Commercial Lead

This role blends relationship management with commercial acumen, including full P&L accountability for your accounts and responsibility for presenting, working toward, and delivering on annual sales budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Ownership: Lead and grow defined customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
* Annual Budgeting: Build and manage annual sales budgets for each account, presenting strategies to deliver and exceed targets.
* Commercial Development: Proactively identify and pitch new opportunities to grow sales—both through current lines and new product development.
* Financial Control: Prepare accurate cost models and margin-focused pricing aligned with company strategy. Maintain full P&L responsibility for your accounts.
* Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer meetings, visits, and presentations to strengthen relationships and track project progression.
* Project Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams across NPD, operations, and finance to deliver outstanding service.
* Contract Negotiation: Manage and negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
* Customer Planning Agreements (CPA): Create and monitor CPAs aligned with customer growth and internal capacity.
What You'll Bring
* A proven track record in Account Management, ideally in the health & beauty or personal care manufacturing space.
* At least 5 year's experience in a manufacturing-based commercial role.
* Strong negotiation, budgeting, and sales planning skills.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills—confident with stakeholders at all levels.
* Drive, flexibility, and professionalism—willingness to travel and represent Orean at events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Job Purpose
* To perform as a key member of the Commercial Team in order to promote the company and develop sales to achieve agreed business targets and meet customer needs.
* To Build relationships with key contacts and customers, seeking opportunities to grow sales of existing and development products
* To build strong internal relationships with all key stakeholders across all departments
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and grow defined customer relationships and negotiate supply contracts and pricing
* Prepare and monitor CPA's in line with customer projects and company resources
* Assess potential new business and projects for commercial suitability
* Prepare accurate and relevant cost models which reflect the company strategy and margin targets with full P&L responsibility.
* Conduct regular relevant face to face customer meetings to support the customer company relationship and develop account growth
* Work closely with all appropriate internal teams and individuals to manage customer projects
* Any other business as requested by CEO
Person Specification
* This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills and a variety of sales negotiation and persuasion skills, which must be applied at all levels within the business
* The successful candidate will be expected to hold independent meetings and organise visits to customers
* Follow up on actions from meetings and write concise meeting notes
* The role will involve long and sometimes unsociable hours with overnight stays wo we will require flexibility, commitment and good organisational skills
* The successful candidate will be required to represent Orean at trade fairs, exhibitions, events and conferences, networking with representatives from a broad range of companies
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
* Capability to work under pressure and achieve results whilst remaining flexible and professional at all times
* Aptitude to liase with people at all levels both internally and externally
* Proven track record of successful Account Management in a manufacturing environment is necessary within the personal care industry is advantageous
Knowledge, Experience and Work Skills Needed:
* Minimum of 2 years Account Management experience in a Health & Beauty manufacturing environment.
* Minimum of 2 years sales experience
* A good level of education minimum, Maths and English GCSE (A-C)
* MS Office experience
