The Apprenticeship Role
As a Primary Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience and develop crucial skills directly within the classroom, guided by our experienced teaching staff. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting children's learning across various subjects within the primary curriculum (e.g., Maths, English, Science, PE).
Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Working with individual pupils or small groups to provide targeted academic and pastoral support.
Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Assisting with classroom organization, resource management, and displays.
Observing and reporting on student progress and engagement to the class teacher.
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues.
Actively participating in all off-the-job training and completing apprenticeship coursework to achieve your Level 3 qualification.
Upholding all school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (if not already held).
