I recruit Security Architects and Security Engineers for the UK, Middle East and USA's leading companies.
An Application and IT Security Specialist is sought by a leading bank in central London.
The role will suit someone with a broad mix of technical security skills and experience, as this is a highly varied role in a small security team of 11 people. Previous application security experience is essential.
The role breaks down roughly as follows:
* 50% of time spent on developing and maturing application security for the UK bank including SAST, DAST and SCA (tooling= Checkmarx), working with the dev team on secure coding, and setting up a network of application security champions.
* 50% of time spent working with the 3rd party PenTesters to identify and analyse vulnerabilities, and also reviewing threat intelligence alerts, investigating alerts from the SOC and assisting with incident response and post-incident investigation.
The role is based in central London, with 3 days a week expected in the office. It is a permanent role with a base salary of £75-85k, depending on experience.
