Distribution Shift Manager
Annual Salary: £48,175 + extensive benefits. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM start (40 hours per week). Location: Eastleigh.
As a Distribution Shift Manager, you will lead the overall success of your shift, ensuring transport standards, budgets and targets are met. You will manage a team of 100–170 people, keep them motivated and engaged, and ensure our products are delivered efficiently to our customers. You will also oversee our multi‑temperature warehouse operations and make data‑driven adjustments to plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a large shift team, delivering on performance, culture and continuous improvement.
* Ensure all transport standards, budgets and service targets are achieved.
* Monitor transport costs, budgets and individual growth plans.
* Use data insights, trends and team input to improve processes.
* Prioritise customer needs and deliver exceptional service.
* Interpret DVLA regulations that may affect drivers.
* Influence stakeholders and drive change across the organization.
* Maintain compliance with CPC and, if not held, achieve CPC within 12 months.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience leading a team and driving performance.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and transport systems (Verizon, Convey, Roadnet, Samsara).
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of DVLA regulations relevant to drivers.
* Experience with change management and influencing others.
* Willingness to obtain CPC if not already held.
