Payroll Project Advisor – UK
AAB is a leading professional services firm providing audit, accounting, tax, payroll, HR, outsourcing and advisory solutions globally. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Payroll Advisor to support a transformative payroll project and enhance our payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in upgrading the current payroll system, including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
* Contribute to the successful implementation of a new payroll system by supporting configuration, parallel runs, and go-live activities.
* Support accurate and secure migration of payroll data from legacy systems to new platforms.
* Identify inefficiencies in current payroll processes and propose improvements to streamline operations.
* Work closely with project managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
* Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the end‑user and client experience related to payroll services.
* Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of processes, workflows, and system changes.
* Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on new processes and systems.
* Provide operational support to the ongoing delivery team, including processing payrolls when required.
* Support the review, mapping, and redesign of existing payroll processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience in processing UK payroll is essential.
* Familiarity with BrightPay payroll software is desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a project team.
* Knowledge of UK payroll legislation is essential.
* Previous experience supporting payroll‑related projects, particularly system implementations or process change.
