Senior Estates Manager (Electrical Bias) – NHS Golden Jubilee Estates Department. This role is responsible for managing the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital and the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.
Responsibilities
* Meet the organisation’s key objectives, ensuring delivery of patient care by providing effective, efficient, and safe operation & maintenance of estates services, systems and budgetary resources.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and NHS Healthcare standards & guidelines.
* Oversee day‑to‑day operational activities of the Estates Department.
* Provide technical and managerial control of directly employed and specialist contract staff.
* Manage delegated capital projects within the facilities.
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification.
* At least 3 years of experience managing in a complex healthcare environment.
* Vocational qualifications that demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
* Ideally a chartered engineer member of a registered Engineering or Building Institute.
* Good technical knowledge of complex building services and healthcare equipment & services.
* Excellent managerial skills, demonstrated through academic development, experience, and training courses that enable motivation, management, direction, and support of staff & contractors.
