Job Description:
Wincanton is looking for a Security Services Cluster Manager to join the team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Services Cluster Manager, ideally based in the South. You will travel to sites within your area of responsibility (indicative – M25 corridor), providing leadership and direction for the Crime & Security Team Leader and Officer teams, ensuring service excellence is at the forefront of your role.
You will build strong relationships with site management and champion your team’s ability to provide a professional and positive impression, protecting colleagues, property, and brand.
The role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract, with renewal discussions late 2025.
Reporting to: Security Services Operations Manager
How will you contribute?
* Maintain service excellence by managing, coaching, and developing Crime & Security Officers and Team Leaders within your area.
* Be aware of contract-specific security and risk reduction duties across your cluster and train your teams accordingly, following documented SOP/SSOW.
* Support risk-based security review programs, maintaining compliance and accreditation such as the Authorised Economic Operator status.
* Ensure delivery of key performance targets and service levels, implementing measures to address any shortfalls.
* Engage in personal development and continuous improvement, attending relevant training to perform your role effectively, especially safety courses.
What will you bring?
* Proven experience managing teams in the security sector or similar industry.
* SIA licensed, with operational security and risk mitigation experience, preferably in a supply chain environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent time management skills.
* Full UK driving license.
* Ability to achieve government SC clearance if required.
