We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our culinary team. Duties
* Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, lamb, and poultry, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and butcher area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfil meat orders efficiently and accurately.
* Monitor stock levels of meat products and assist in inventory management.
* Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques related to meat preparation.
* Assist in training junior staff members on proper butchering techniques and food safety practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Butcher or in a similar role within the culinary or restaurant industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Proficiency in various butchering techniques and knife skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
