The role of Local Service Manager will include:
1. Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
2. Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, key stakeholders, and external agencies
3. Overseeing the overall delivery of the service
4. Working closely with our internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
5. Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget
6. Managing the recruitment, performance, and development of staff
7. Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
8. Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:
9. Proven experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service
10. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
11. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
12. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
13. Compassionate, caring, and hard working with a hands-on approach to support
14. Experience of working in a personalised way supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
15. Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
