Remote Technical Consultant / Delivery Manager - Legal Tech Actionstep
Remote (with occasional travel to client sites) – Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
This is a full-time, permanent role. 40 hours per week, office hours. Plus benefits: 5% pension contribution, flexible core hours.
Overview
Technical Delivery Manager in a technology transformation and management consultancy for legal firms. You will combine technical delivery with leadership to implement and optimise Actionstep and related digital solutions, helping law firms embrace modern cloud-based operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Partner with clients to analyse their practice management needs and design tailored solutions.
* Deliver and facilitate workshops with clients to capture requirements and guide system configuration.
* Own the technical delivery of projects, working with project managers and support teams for seamless rollouts.
* Act as a trusted advisor, expanding Nexian’s ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, AI-driven solutions, and third-party tools).
What You’ll Bring
Experience
* Background in a law firm environment or with a legal technology/software provider.
* Proven track record implementing legal practice management systems.
* Strong understanding of legal accounting processes, including billing, compliance, and financial workflows.
* Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation for internal and client use.
* Understanding of challenges facing legal firms and how technology boosts productivity and profitability.
Knowledge and Skills
* In-depth knowledge of law firm operations and modern practice management expectations.
* Familiarity with Actionstep is advantageous but not essential.
* Comfort facilitating discussions with senior stakeholders, managing priorities, and influencing decisions.
* Genuine enthusiasm for legal technology and a drive to stay ahead of industry innovations.
