Garage Manager / Service Manager Required for Family Run Car Dealer Group in Crawley, West Sussex

Our client, a well-established car dealership group in Crawley, West Sussex, is currently looking for a skilled Garage Manager to oversee daily operations at their busy service centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to manage a talented team and contribute to the continued success of a respected aftersales business.

Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum
Lucrative bonus structure, with OTE reaching £45,000
Standard working hours from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Every other Saturday morning shift

Managing the workshop team including four technicians and one MOT tester
Overseeing incoming work, loading jobs and ensuring timely invoicing
Maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction standards
Acting as a key holder and responsible for the day to day running and security of the business
Supporting the assistant service manager in daily operations
Responsible for achieving profitability targets and workflow organisation
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standardsCandidate Profile for the Garage Manager role:
Proven experience managing an independent garage or similar automotive service centre
Strong leadership and team management skills
Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of workshop systems and CRM platforms
Attention to detail, reliable, and proactive in problem solving
