About the Role
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with autism
Support her learning, communication and emotional regulation
Adapt activities and resources to help her access the curriculum
Build a trusting relationship to promote confidence and independence
Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider SEN team
Help create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
A caring, patient, and understanding individual
Experience with autism or SEN (advantageous but not required)
Graduates in Psychology or SEN-related degrees highly encouraged to apply
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Reliability, resilience, and a positive attitude
Someone passionate about helping a child succeed
