Th e role requires you to be in office for 37.5 hours per week. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year term. In return, you will receive £25,000 with the opportunity to pursue a recognized accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA). As an Assistant Financial Systems Analyst, the successful candidate will a id and support in the implementation of the global financial system to all Human Appeal Offices worldwide. This includes training and supporting systems users, performing systems configuration and opening balances upload as well as month end and year end close activities. Key duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Financial Systems Analyst: Successfully: • Assist in implementation of the global financial systems to Human Appeal Offices within schedule and budget • Support month end and year end close for all Human Appeal Offices within agreed timeline • Assist in building relevant financial reports for decision making and auditing • Train and support systems users to resolve issues within the agreed SLA • Assist in systems administration of the global financial system. • Support and oversee the global financial systems Implementation in all Human Appeal offices worldwide • Support stakeholders to establish core requirements of new finance systems and ensure that the core requirements are continuously updated • Participating in the implementation and configuration of the global financial system for new Human Appeal offices within timescale and budget • Supporting the setup of security access to all finance systems including creation new user groups, and controlling access where required • Provide ongoing support for existing users • Assist in developing user documentation and deliver classroom-based courses/online training • Support the testing of new releases, functionalities and reports including coordinating user acceptance testing • Working closely with ICT and stakeholders throughout the organisation, to manage expectations and maintain systems integrity throughout. • Continuously seek improvements to work processes replacing manual work with automated processes. • Assist in developing and maintaining existing reports to deliver business critical information to Finance users and the Management across the organisation • Liaise with financial system vendor to escalate support case to them as necessary • Travel to overseas Human Appeal Offices as necessary to support implementation of the financial system as required • Any tasks as required by the Director of Finance and Head of Systems & Development What we’re looking for in an Assistant Financial Systems Analyst: • Degree in Accounting or equivalent • No experience required • Excellent Excel skills • MS Office Suite Computer Skills Languages • Fluent English, other languages a bonus.
