CNC Setter/Operator (3 & 5Axis)
Salary:Up to £16.15 per hour
Hours: Alternating weekly shifts, approx. 40-44 hours per week
Shifts: One week of earlies (approx. 07:00-16:30) followed by one week of lates (approx. 11:00/11:30-20:00/20:30)
Key Responsibilities of this CNC Setter/Operator position:
* Set and operate 3 and 5axis CNC machines (no programming required).
* Complete tooling, fixturing, and offset adjustments to run production efficiently.
* Produce components to drawing/specification with accurate in process inspection.
* Operate additional shopfloor equipment including band saws and conventional machines (training can be provided).
* Maintain high standards of safe working practices in the machine shop.
* Support production performance across the department by ensuring strong throughput and minimal downtime.
* Work collaboratively with offline programmers and senior machinists to resolve machining issues.
* Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to all quality and H&S procedures.
Requirements of this CNC Setter/Operator position:
