Lanarkshire Valuation Joint Board is an independent public authority established by The Valuation Joint Board (Scotland) Order 1995.
What we do
Provide a professional valuation and electoral registration service for North and South Lanarkshire council areas, including the Valuation Rolls, Valuation (Council Tax) List, and Register of Electors.

Our vision

Role responsibilities
Assist in the management of property valuation, analysis of rental transactions, negotiations, and acting as an expert witness. Deputise for the Divisional Assessor and represent at Tribunal hearings.
Candidate requirements
A positive, professional attitude, ability to work under pressure, and a driving license are desirable. You will need to drive to survey appointments and meetings.
