NHS Western Isles is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dietetic Support Worker to join our Nutrition & Dietetics team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support patients of all ages across a range of clinical areas, helping them improve their health and wellbeing.
Role details
Band 3 £28,011 - £30,230 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum
37 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Deliver Tier 2 weight management programmes (both one-to-one and in groups), supporting patients through care pathways, and contributing to service development.
* Administrative duties such as coordinating clinics, managing resources, and producing outcome data to support service delivery.
* Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, using digital tools like Near Me and Microsoft Office.
* Liaise with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies, and may include travel across the Western Isles.
Requirements
* The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
* Training and development will be provided, and you’ll be part of a team that values compassion, teamwork, and innovation.
* Ability to travel across the Western Isles may be required.
