We're looking for an IT Support Engineer in our Kent office who enjoys developing and automating in-house IT systems, troubleshooting the office IT environment, and handling day-to-day IT requests. This role offers the opportunity to build out our IT support team alongside our growing IT department, ensuring excellent support for Lendable (600+ employees). We seek someone genuinely interested in solving end-user problems in a fast-paced environment, with a natural curiosity and a focus on innovation and automation. This position allows for a significant impact in a hyper-growth setting.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for IT issues in our Kent office.
* Support Windows, MacOS, and Linux systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with standards.
* Manage IT BAU tasks, including ticketing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repairs/disposal.
* Onboard new joiners across multiple locations and support their technical needs.
* Maintain and troubleshoot office technical equipment, such as video conferencing tools and network peripherals.
* Develop and improve systems through automation and scripting; familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud is a plus.
* Possess industry-specific knowledge, particularly in finance, and experience in network management and security protocols.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3+ years experience in IT Support or Service Desk roles.
* Experience with MDM systems such as Jumpcloud, Jamf, or Kandji.
* Proficiency with ITSM/Service Desk ticketing systems like Zendesk, Jira, or Freshdesk.
* Troubleshooting skills across various computers and OS, especially MacOS.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Willingness to visit London office locations as needed.
* Scripting knowledge in Bash or PowerShell is desirable.
