Excellent Art Teacher to join a dynamic and innovative Arts faculty
We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced secondary school in Reading from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent teaching post ideal for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and a flair for inspiring students at Key Stage 3 and 4, with A-Level Art available for experienced candidates.
The Art department is known for its creativity, vibrant displays, and active student participation in exhibitions and competitions. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and energy to the team, delivering lessons that challenge and engage students while nurturing their artistic voice. Experience with digital media, photography, or 3D art is a plus.
Experience and Qualifications
• Art-related degree and a formal teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS)
• Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4; A-Level desirable
• Passionate about visual arts, student creativity, and inclusion
• Skilled in a variety of artistic techniques and media
• Eligible to work in the UK
