An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Supervisor to work within the Waste, Environment and Fleet Team based at our Lochgilphead Workshop covering maintenance of the Councils Fleet across owned maintenance locations and management of third party maintenance on the islands.

The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for the safe and legal maintenance of Council assets to DVSA standard and in accordance with the Authority’s O Licence undertakings. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate familiarity with all aspects of maintenance good practice and governance and be results driven with vehicle uptime and availability being key features of the role. Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels is crucial to the post.
