Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm, is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy property team. ?? About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a fee earner in managing residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion. This role involves a mix of administrative duties, client interaction, and legal support to ensure smooth progression of files.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Opening new client files and preparing quotes
* Managing daily correspondence and file administration
* Requesting searches and missing documents for purchase files
* Drafting and sending contracts and supporting documents for sale files
* Handling enquiries, drafting completion statements, and SDLT returns
* Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors, and brokers
* Managing exchange and completion processes
* Submitting post-completion documentation (SDLT, HMLR, etc.)
* Ensuring compliance with AML procedures and CLC regulations
* Keeping internal systems and task lists up to date

* Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support role

* Excellent communication and client care abilities

* Familiarity with case management systems and Microsoft Office
