A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a persons disability or health condition affects their daily life. Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. Thats the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you dont. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.</p><p>This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established, people focussed organisation. Youll receive outstanding training and support to ensure you are the best you can be in your new Disability Assessor role!</p><h3>What we look for;</h3><ul><li>An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post-registration experience</li><li>Someone proactive and keen to learn</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills
