JOB TITLE – Assistant Conference and Events Manager DEPARTMENT – Conference and Events RATE OF PAY – Competitive including excellent benefits! CONTRACT TYPE – Full Time, Permanent LOCATION - The Parkgate Hotel, Cardiff JOB ID - REQ6153 OVERVIEW We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Assistant Conference and Events Manager! WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR … We require a highly skilled Assistant Manager who has a hands-on approach and an ability to demonstrate they are capable of innovation, inspiring, training and leading a team. Having a background in hospitality operations you will have a passion for the industry and want to deliver our guests a memorable experience. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a similar role. WHAT YOU’LL DO … Your role will be to support the Conference and Events Manager to supervise the set-up and running of the department. You will have a complete knowledge of the daily schedule, departmental guidelines and safety procedures whilst maintaining a supportive working relationship with your team and other departments.
