Hours:Full Time. 39 hours per week.
Shifts: Monday to Thursday - 6.00am until 3.00pm, Friday - 6.00am until 11.00am
Salary: You will be paid an initial training rate until you are up to speed, you will then be paid piecework (so you will be rewarded for the more you machine.) Training rate £14 per hour dependant on experience, rising to approx £16/£17per hour once trained.
What you'll be doing
We're looking for a Pre-Sew Machinist to join our fast paced Manufacturing team at our Berkeley Magna manufacturing site on a permanent basis.
A Pre-Sew Machinist at DFS is a fantastic opportunity to be highly rewarded for the effort that you put in to the role. You will have experience of overlocking sewing work ready for our lockstitch team to complete the next aspect of production and have the ability to work in a high volume environment.
You will need to have experience of using sewing machines and using different materials. You will need to enjoy working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
