Due to continued success this company are seeking for a Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis. Report to the Procurement Manager you will Source, negotiate, and procure construction materials Identify and select reliable suppliers / contractors for live projects Ensure all materials meet required technical specifications and quality standards. Perform daily, weekly and monthly checks to ensure all paperwork is up to date Manage the delivery of all material & plant to site Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors Work to ensure all supplier invoices are cleared for payment in a timely manner Other adhoc duties About you +2 years experience of working within the construction sector.
