We are a small, specialist school supporting children and young people whose needs mean that mainstream education has not always been the right fit. Our pupils present primarily with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside Autism, ADHD and demand-avoidant (PDA) profiles. Many of our pupils require a calm, flexible and therapeutic approach in order to feel safe enough to learn.Rodenhurst provides a nurturing, structured environment where staff work closely together to support pupils both academically and emotionally. We believe that progress looks different for every child and value growth in confidence, communication, regulation and independence as much as academic achievement.We are seeking an innovative and reflective teacher to deliver a primary-model curriculum to mainly KS3 pupils. Classes are small (no more than six pupils), with consistent Learning Support Assistant support, allowing teachers the time and space to build strong relationships and adapt learning to individual needs.Situated in the Shropshire countryside, our setting enables outdoor learning to form a meaningful part of the school day.
