St Ann's Medical Centre require a Receptionist to assist in the day to day running of our 3 busy surgeries. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must have excellent telephone and communication skills, be able to work under pressure and have good IT and interpersonal skills. The post is full time (37.5 hours) across the working times of the practice although Job Share / part time is acceptable.
We are looking for a real team player who is proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to deliver Practice goals.
Main duties of the job
A receptionist role is a vital part of the practice helping patients navigate their way in the NHS. The role is varied and challenging not limited to but encompasses the following key areas.
Answering telephone calls
Booking appointments
Dealing with Queries
Greeting patients and visitors
Overview of your organisation
St Ann's Medical Centre is a large town centre General Medical Practice with just over 19000 patients registered. We have a large multidisciplinary team based across our 3 sites.
