Overview
Leading SAP infrastructure service management activities, ensuring reliable, secure and cost-effective solutions. Managing third-party SAP hosting providers, ensuring delivery against SLAs and governance standards. Acting as SAP technical lead on IT and business transformation projects. Monitoring system performance, capacity, and availability - and planning smart enhancements. Supporting compliance with SOx, audit and security standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials. Investigating and resolving incidents, supporting users, and ensuring root cause analysis is actioned. Mentoring junior colleagues and shaping the multi-year IT strategy with your SAP expertise.
What we're looking for
Essentials
* Proven experience with SAP technologies in a large infrastructure environment
* Strong knowledge of IT governance, audit, and service management principles
* Ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
* Familiarity with UK GOV Cyber Essentials, NIST, and ISO27001
* Experience of working in regulated industries
* Passion for innovation, mentoring and continuous improvement

From managing external hosting partners to leading service improvements and supporting transformational projects, you'll be right at the heart of Tarmac's digital evolution. You'll work across a broad technical landscape - translating business needs into innovative SAP platform solutions, ensuring system availability, security, and performance. You'll bring a proactive, strategic mindset, using your deep technical knowledge and sharp analytical skills to deliver real impact.
