Job Description:
Position: SENCo, full-time, permanent
I am working with a Multi-Academy Trust seeking to appoint a qualified SENCo to work with one of their specialist primary provisions. The Trust aims to hire a forward-thinking SENCo on a permanent contract starting January 2025.
The staff at the provision are dedicated to making positive differences in the lives of young people, celebrating small victories that contribute to meaningful progress. The role involves working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them learn, develop, and build self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, but the rewards of witnessing these 'huge small victories' are significant.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage SEN and inclusive provisions, including data analysis and supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies for SEN pupils in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.
2. Monitor daily operations related to the SEN policy and provision.
3. Contribute to evaluation and review processes, providing guidance to teaching staff in delivering SEN provision.
4. Model successful inclusive strategies to promote high achievement levels.
