About Us

We are a leading commercial vehicle parts company with a proud history spanning over 45 years, based in the heart of South Ribble, Preston. Renowned for our exceptional service and expertise in the industry, we are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to support our day-to-day operations and help maintain our high standards of service.

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting customer enquiries and ensuring orders are processed smoothly and accurately. You will be responsible for booking orders, replying to customers across multiple channels, and listing products on eBay. You will also assist the Head of Digital with general online tasks and daily support where needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Booking customer orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems.
* Replying to customer enquiries via eBay messages, email, and phone in a professional and helpful manner.
* Listing products on eBay, including writing clear titles/descriptions and uploading images.
* Supporting customers with product availability, delivery queries, returns, and general order updates.
* Assisting the Head of Digital with day-to-day online and admin tasks to support smooth operations.
* Maintaining accurate customer and order records, ensuring attention to detail at all times.
* Helping ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and escalating when required.

What We're Looking For

* Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or admin support (preferred).
* Confidence using computers and online systems (eBay experience is a strong advantage).
* Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner.
* Well-organised, able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
* A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
