Your new role: Change Manager
As a Change Manager at Global, you’ll be part of a small but high-impact Transformation team. You’ll be an expert in delivering complex technology, people, and process change, responsible for preparing, supporting, and equipping Globallers to adopt new ways of working that deliver valuable business benefits. You will also ensure that change initiatives meet their objectives on time and within budget by driving employee adoption and engagement.
You’ll work closely with project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders across Global to design and implement tailored change plans. By understanding the impact of change on different teams, you’ll help to minimise resistance and maximise engagement, ensuring that our people feel supported every step of the way. Your approach will combine insight with hands-on delivery, championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and maintain thorough change impact assessments, putting Globallers at the heart of what you do.
* Understand and map existing business processes; identify and recommend changes to enhance business performance and efficiency.
* Perform rigorous stakeholder analysis and identify key contacts who will help set you up for success.
* Facilitate rigorous user acceptance testing, working with Product and Project teams to agree a route to launch.
* Identify potential resistance, develop mitigation tactics, and reinforce successful adoption across business units.
* Use data to tell a story; bring people on a journey using key metrics to help communicate your point.
* Work with colleagues in learning and development to create a meaningful training needs analysis, and support business units to deliver them.
* Plan and deliver structured communications plans that will inform, inspire and make people’s day brighter.
* Support the development of compelling cases for change that drive awareness and alignment across stakeholder groups.
* Where required, work closely with product and software engineering teams to ‘bridge the gap’ between the Technology and business teams.
* Support the monitoring and realisation of business benefits from our investments.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you will:
* Be assigned your first change programme, and would have familiarised yourself with the business case and business benefits to be realised.
* Create a stakeholder map for your first programme of work and have built relationships with key people.
* Take the AS IS process maps and develop an understanding of how the business area works.
* Create a change impact assessment for each milestone of the journey.
* Book, facilitate and report on key testing milestones.
* Create thoughtful and engaging communications that create awareness of why we’re changing.
* Think about change resistance and identify relevant interventions to keep us on course.
* Book in relevant post implementation and business benefits reviews for each step of the journey.
What You’ll Need
Change Management Expertise: Familiarity with methodologies such as Prosci or Kotter is highly desirable, alongside experience leading technology-driven change initiatives.
Analytical Skills: Ability to map processes, analyse data, and identify meaningful insights that inform change strategies.
Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a range of stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative and analytical thinking to understand business operations today and identify improvements for tomorrow.
Emotional Intelligence: Proven ability to collaborate across teams, manage diverse working styles, and maintain resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Project Delivery Focus: Strong prioritisation skills to focus on what matters most, with an understanding of software development lifecycle principles.
Building Trust: Strong influencing skills to coach others in best practise for landing change and unlocking value.
