Role Description
As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for modelling existing products and associated components to create drawing packs and update BOM listings.
This environment requires you to focus on multiple priorities, maintain a calm approach, and ensure timely delivery.
You will also provide project updates weekly and monthly to your line manager.
Essential Duties
* Transfer CAD/CNC programme data to new media, ensuring programmes match drawings.
* Produce nested daily run programmes for CNC machines.
* Verify bills of material against actual production, making corrections as needed.
* Update BOMs in the ERP system and vault.
* Check and update production routings on ERP.
* Compare CAD drawings with actual parts, log discrepancies, and amend as advised by management.
* Perform additional tasks to support factory or company operations.
