The Role
This is a hands-on, varied Accounts Assistant position based at our Head Office in Studley, Warwickshire. You'll be working on-site as part of a close-knit finance and administration team, supporting the financial operations of our group across a range of day-to-day accounting functions.
We'll be honest - we can train you on the systems. What we're really looking for is someone who brings the right knowledge, mindset and work ethic. If you're detail-oriented, a strong communicator and someone who takes real pride in getting things right, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales and purchase ledger management
* Bank reconciliations and petty cash/credit card processing
* Credit control
* Payroll support
* Utilities management and data entry
* Financial reporting to support business needs
* General financial administration in conjunction with the wider admin team
What We're Looking For
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record keeping
* Confident communicator - comfortable liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Proficient in technology
* Experience with Sage 50 Accounts/Payroll is useful but not essential
* A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is advantageous but not essential - recent, relevant experience counts equally
* A positive, motivated attitude and a willingness to learn
Hours, Flexibility & Rate
24–32 hours per week. Exact days and times to be agreed upon appointment, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday being the preferred working days if not all week. Hourly rate of pay - £13.75.
