Further details regarding pay progression and criteria can be discussed during the interview process. ______________________________________ Your Role as a Cleaning Tutor We are looking for an enthusiastic and learner-focused Cleaning Tutor to join our Education team at HMP Peterborough. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals within the criminal justice system by equipping them with practical qualifications and the confidence to continue their learning journey. As a Cleaning Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality sessions to support prisoners in achieving a recognised qualification in cleaning. Your approach will be dynamic and personalised, tailored to meet the individual needs of learners—many of whom may have undiagnosed learning needs or lack confidence in education. You’ll track progress, manage classroom behaviour, and foster a positive learning environment that promotes self-belief and independence. Unlike mainstream settings, you’ll enjoy smaller class sizes, no term-time constraints, and no work to take home. With dedicated time for administration and all learner files remaining on site, you can focus fully on impactful classroom delivery and learner support.
