Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents and visitors.
* Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
* Support with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness.
* Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
* Help ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
* Organise and stock kitchen supplies.
* Provide support to the cook and wider kitchen team as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage, but not essential.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
* Friendly, compassionate, and comfortable interacting with residents and members of the public.
* Physically able to stand for extended periods and carry out manual tasks.
