Location: Hybrid/Flexible (Office located: London, SE1 or Lancashire, WN8)
The Organic Social Media Manager sits within the Marketing function, as part of the Acquisition division, reporting directly into the Director of Marketing.
This role owns the Organic Social strategy and execution, with a clear mandate to drive new customer growth through brand awareness, influencer marketing and social‑first content. Influencer activity must deliver direct, measurable outcomes, including referrals, reach and traffic, with a strong focus on demonstrating the impact of Organic Social on downstream sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the Organic Social strategy across key platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and emerging channels), aligned to acquisition objectives
* Build a social‑first content roadmap that drives brand awareness, consideration and referral‑led acquisition
* Identify cultural trends, platform shifts and content opportunities to maximise organic reach and relevance
* Lead the influencer marketing strategy, with accountability for delivering measurable results including referrals, traffic and reach
* Identify, source and manage relationships with influencers and UGC creators, prioritising partners who can drive authentic advocacy and performance
* Negotiate influencer and creator partnerships, ensuring clear deliverables, usage rights and value for money
* Develop scalable influencer programs (e.g. ambassador, referral or always‑on creator models) to support acquisition goals
* Define and track KPIs for Organic Social and influencer activity, including reach, engagement, traffic, referrals and assisted conversions
* Work closely with Analytics and Acquisition teams to demonstrate the true impact of Organic Social on sales, beyond vanity metrics
* Apply a test‑and‑learn mindset to content, creators and formats, continuously optimising performance
* Partner with Brand, Ecommerce and Paid Media teams to ensure social activity supports wider campaigns and trading moments
* Collaborate with PR and Brand teams to amplify earned media and influencer content organically
* Ensure all Organic Social and influencer activity aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice and regulatory requirements
About You
* You are a commercially minded problem solver who understands how Organic Social contributes to acquisition and growth
* Confident negotiating and managing external partners, including influencers and UGC creators
* Highly data‑driven, with a strong ability to connect social activity to tangible business outcomes
* Organised and structured, with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at pace
* Comfortable balancing creativity with performance, and confident presenting results to senior stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years’ experience in Organic Social or Social Media roles, with hands‑on responsibility for strategy and execution
* Proven experience driving deliverable, measurable results through influencer marketing and creator partnerships
* Strong track record of demonstrating the impact of Organic Social on traffic, referrals and sales
* Experience working in the pharmaceutical or regulated sector is required; experience within weight loss or health is desirable but not essential
* Deep understanding of major social platforms, influencer ecosystems and emerging trends
* Experience working closely with Acquisition, Performance Marketing and Analytics teams
* Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments where accountability and measurement matter
