Test and Approvals Engineer
We’re looking for a Test and Approvals Engineer to play a key role in validating a series of advanced electronic control systems designed for precision movement and load handling in demanding environments. What You’ll Do
* Develop and execute test plans to ensure compliance with EN280 and ISO 13849 safety standards.
* Perform environmental and regulatory testing for IP67, EMC, FCC, and CE marking.
* Document validation and approvals processes to meet project and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
* Coordinate with third‑party certification bodies as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in test and compliance engineering within industrial or mobile equipment sectors.
* Strong knowledge of EN280, ISO 13849, and functional safety principles.
* Hands‑on experience with IP rating, EMC compliance, and FCC approvals.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Functional Safety certification (e.g., TÜV) highly desirable.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and risk assessment methodologies (FMEA).
