We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Operative (Joiner) to join Sovini Property Services, part of The Sovini Group.

As a Multi Skilled Operative (Joiner), you will be expected to:
* Ensure that all customer homes are maintained to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
* Be proficient in most of the following activities: installation of kitchens and bathrooms, joinery/carpentry, sheet and tiled flooring, plumbing, plastering and tiling.
* Ensure that works are completed within the target response times
* Provide a high standard of service to all customers
* Ensure all PPE issued is always accounted for and kept safe and secure.
* Use/wear and apply all PPE issued by Sovini Property Services
* Assist colleagues where necessary to ensure Sovini Property Services obligations are completely fulfilled.

* Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
To be successful in a Multi Skilled Operative (Joiner) role, the skills you will need:
* Hold a Full UK Driving License.
* Qualified to a minimum level of City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (Level 3) in Joinery.
* Experience in working in repairs and maintenance in housing services.
* Experience of working in a building environment and completing repair work in occupied homes and void properties.
* A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice i.e Construction, Building Regulations and Health and Safety.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with homeowners, external agencies and office-based colleagues.
* Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time
* Commitment to providing high quality service to all customers
* Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
* Multi-skilled and capable of fitting new kitchens and bathrooms. Must be able to undertake various types of work including joinery, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, sheet flooring. All work to be of a high standard.
* Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
* Qualified to a minimum level of City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (Level 3) in Plumbing
* Familiar with PDA and other electronic devices
* Good numeracy and literacy
