Location: Waterton Training Centre, Waterton Industrial Estate, Bridgend, CF31 3WT
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
Rate: £18.00 per hour (umbrella)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - flexibility required depending on work demands
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the effective management and delivery of facilities and services at the Waterton Training Centre. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring that the centre operates safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day running of the facilities and building services.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
Ensure health & safety compliance, including carrying out risk assessments and maintaining relevant records.
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Monitor facilities budgets, service contracts, and utilities usage.
Support hybrid working arrangements, ensuring smooth operations across office and remote environments.
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and act as the first point of contact for facilities-related queries.
Identify opportunities for service improvements and cost efficiencies.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance, and health & safety regulations.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work flexibly to meet business demands.
IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
