Contract Details
Inside IR35 contract with hybrid & remote working options, initial term 12 months. Occasional site visits to our customers in the North West (once a month for a day or two, depending on location in the UK).
Responsibilities
* Develop, test and optimise engineering system models in Simulink for aerospace and marine applications.
* Generate code from MATLAB for Simulink models and optimise for performance, accuracy, and resource utilisation.
* Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
* Work closely with cross‑functional teams (hardware engineers, software developers, project managers) and liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
* Contribute to the Active Control System used on a new Submarine platform, a hydrostatic/hydrodynamic autopilot.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification with experience in control systems, signal processing and model‑based design using MATLAB/Simulink.
* Proven track record in engineering and transferable systems skills from related vehicle industries.
* Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.
