Service Manager – Fire & Security | Nottingham | Salary circa £50,000 DOE + car allowance/company car + benefits
Our client, a respected provider of fire & security solutions, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop their service operations based out of Nottingham. This is a key role with responsibility for ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to customers while managing and supporting a team of engineers.
The Role
* Oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring contracts and reactive works are delivered to high standards.
* Manage, support, and mentor a team of field service engineers across the region.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
* Drive efficiency and profitability through effective planning and resource management.
* Report on performance, KPIs, and budgets to senior management.
* Act as the key point of contact for service-related customer enquiries, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Work closely with senior management to contribute to business growth and service improvement strategies.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a service management or senior engineering role within the fire & security sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of systems including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire detection.
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Customer-focused with a track record of delivering high service standards.
* Based within commuting distance of Nottingham, with flexibility to travel as required.
