The Client Account Manager (CAM) will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing relationships with key clients across the UK, Nordics, Netherlands, and Growth Markets. Reporting directly to Head of CAM Northern Europe & Growth Markets, the CAM will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, expansion, and defense of existing relationships through excellent and high-quality client servicing, in collaboration with regional business developers and a wide range of investment and operational professionals.
The role is based in our London office.
What you do
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
* Act as the primary contact for clients
* Identify and own cross‑selling opportunities, working with clients to expand service offerings and support cross‑selling initiatives
* Collaborate with the Client Service Experts team and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client issues promptly
* Participate in client meetings and presentations, representing the company professionally and effectively
* Stay informed about industry trends and developments to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
What you bring
* Experience (typically 5+ years) in client servicing within a financial institution or investment fund company, with a focus on institutional clients
* Proven ability in client relationship development and retention strategies
* Good understanding of common investment vehicles, alternative investment products, and client engagement strategies
* Awareness of capital markets and their implications for client services and engagement
* Relevant professional qualifications (such as IMC) are desirable
* Strong negotiation skills, service orientation, and a customer‑focused approach to enhance client relationships
* Commitment to teamwork, a solution‑oriented mindset, and creative implementation skills to drive client engagement initiatives
* Fluent in English, with additional language skills being a plus for effective communication with diverse client bases
* Willingness and commitment to embrace GenAI advancements.
