A well:established food manufacturing company in the Redditch area is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting automated production and essential site equipment.
Role And Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on food processing machinery and site services.
* Maintain and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
* Ensure equipment reliability and efficiency while supporting production teams.
* Assist with additional site services, with training provided for boilers, refrigeration, and other systems.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Mechanical maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
* Experience with process equipment and conveyors
* Proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team
* Welding or electrical skills advantageous but not essential
