Brazer TIG Welder Fabricator – Fabrication of Aircraft Parts
Your precision technical production skills will be used to join sheet metal and precision mechanical components to produce life saving equipment for aircraft. Each project is different, offering a varied and interesting opportunity beyond repetitive welding. You’ll follow Technical Assembly diagrams, undertake mainly silver, bronze and brass brazing with a small amount of aluminium TIG welding. You’ll also assemble prefabricated and pre-machined metal components, hydraulic hoses, attach electric motors, connect cable assemblies and undertake basic test checks.
Responsibilities
* Follow Technical Assembly diagrams.
* Perform brazing with silver, bronze and brass; undertake a small amount of aluminium TIG welding.
* Assemble prefabricated and pre-machined metal components, hydraulic hoses, attach electric motors, connect cable assemblies.
* Undertake basic test checks.
Qualifications
* Mechanical Apprenticeship or time-served background in Engineering or brazing.
* Work experience in an industrial assembly environment.
