We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Educator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and wellbeing of young children within our nursery setting. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote children's development across all areas.
* Support children's emotional, social, and physical wellbeing through attentive care and guidance.
* Supervise children during playtimes, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
* Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines and special events within the nursery.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Lead and manage small teams of staff or volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early years frameworks.
Skills
* Extensive experience working with children in nurseries or similar environments.
* Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Organisational skills to plan activities effectively whilst managing daily routines efficiently.

Pay: £12.80-£13.45 per hour
